Award-winning vodka starts from the source: the potatoes. That’s why Luksusowa has worked with the same Polish family farms for nearly a century to craft the best-tasting vodka we know how.
We take 100% locally sourced Polish potatoes from the hills of Zielona Góra (“Green Mountain”) and mash the hell out of them. Each bottle requires an astounding 45 potatoes - three times the raw materials needed to make grain-based vodka - a sizable investment into what makes our vodka so damn smooth.
We ferment and distill the mash three times in column stills, creating a 90% ABV raw spirit. This process adds to Luksusowa’s distinctive taste, mouthfeel and smooth finish.
Our master distiller goes to work carefully crafting the character of Luksusowa, retaining the flavor and potato character of the spirit.
The spirit is then diluted with the purest artesian water sourced from 165-feet deep natural aquifers dating back to the Oligocene Epoch, bringing the spirit to its bottling ABV of 40%.
That’s it. That’s how we craft award-winning Luksusowa Polish vodka. Enjoy on the rocks, straight up, or in a classic cocktail. Whatever way, we don’t judge.
